Dead or Live: The Show is one of the stages in X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter.
In X-Men vs. Street Fighter, the stage takes place in the set of a live quiz show named "Moon Light Bomber", with the contestant's stands at the left side of the stage and the audience stands at the right, with its only occupant being a boy taking pictures. Several cameras and other equipment are scattered around, and a crowd of people (presumably the audience) can be seen trying to leave the set on the background. At the center stands a 4-screen display showing a view of a city.
In Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, the stage was significantly altered. The set is now for a cooking show called "Night Cooking", and the left side was entirely redrawn into a kitchen-like set with a scared cook, and Spider-Man's wife, Mary Jane Watson-Parker looking over the fight. The four screens at the center now display intermittent images of Spider-Man, Captain America, Ryu and Ken as well as the words "CROSS OVER", "DREAM MATCH" and "HEROES BATTLE". More people are added on the stands, including a scared Aunt May and Peter Parker taking photos. If the players approach the side of the screen Peter is found, his Spider-Sense activates and he will turn around to face the fight while assuming a battle-ready pose.
In the case Spider-Man is one of the characters playing, then Peter is replaced with an angry J. Jonah Jameson being restrained by Robbie Robertson, the two appearing at the rightmost part of the stage.
