Vergil activating Devil Trigger
Devil Trigger is a special technique from Devil May Cry that possessed by demons and half-demons, which allows them to release their full power. In Marvel vs. Capcom, the Devil Trigger is a Hyper mode used by both Dante & Vergil.
Dante's Devil Trigger
The Devil Trigger lasts for 10 seconds. While transformed, Dante's strength increases by 15% and he regains red health. If you tag out Dante while he's in Devil Trigger, it stops the timer for his Devil Trigger, and his assist attacks keep the 15% power boost. The time restarts when Dante is tagged back in.
Dante also gains 3 new special attacks while in Devil Trigger.

Vergil's Devil Trigger
While transformed, Vergil gains a strength boost, speed boost, and gradually regains red health. His attacks and assists also become enhanced, and he is able to perform either an air dash or a double jump. Unlike Dante, Vergil gets no additional special moves while in Devil Trigger, but is able to use his Level 3 hyper combo Dark Angel, but using it ends his Devil Trigger early.
