Character Pass

Announced before the release of the game, the Character Pass is available through purchasing Standard Edition's Season Pass, or Deluxe Edition of MvC:I. It includes 6 characters, and 6 Premium Costumes, one for each DLC character.^[1]

The characters featured in this pass are Sigma, Black Panther, Monster Hunter, Black Widow, Venom and Winter Soldier,^[2] with the first three characters (Black Panther, Sigma and Monster Hunter) released on 17 October 2017^[3] and the second set (Black Widow, Venom and Winter Soldier) set to be released 5 December, 2017.^[4] The characters in the pass can be purchased individually for $7.99, with each individual purchase also including a costume for the character.^[3]

Premium Costumes

The Premium Costumes included with the 2017 characters are part of Wave 1.

Premium Costumes Waves

Premium Costumes are available outside of the character pass, divided in waves. Some of these were initially available through exclusive pre-orders. Each separate costume costs $3.99, while each costume pack which contains 6 costumes for 6 characters costs $11.99, and a bigger Premium Costume Pass contains multiple packs for higher price.^[5]^[6]
