This is a list of all the downloadable content available for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. It is mostly comprised of alternate costumes and additional characters for the game. All purchased content from Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds can be transferred into the game.

All downloadable content went on sale for 50% discount before they were removed from the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Live Arcade on December 2013.[1]

Around the day after Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was announced, but a year before its release, all downloadable content are unlocked by default in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Characters[]

Each character pack contains the character and their DLC costume. When the game was launched, both character packs were available to purchase for $5.00 on PSN and 400 MSP on Xbox Live. If the packs were already purchased in MvC3, they will get the characters for free.

Costumes[]

Each costume pack was gradually released from November 22 to February 21. They were available to purchase for $4.00 each. The Ancient Warrior Pack is $1.99 and the whole costume bundle costs $20.00.

The Costume Pack 01 includes the DLC costumes for Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Ryu, Dante, and Chris. If the pack was already purchased in MvC3, they will get the costumes for free. It was available when the game launched.

The Rising Dead Pack includes the DLC costumes for Phoenix, Ghost Rider, Frank West, and Nemesis. It was released on November 22, 2011.

The Evil Twin Pack includes the DLC costumes for Spider-Man, Deadpool, Hsien-Ko, and Vergil. It was released on December 06, 2011.

The Brawler Pack includes the DLC costumes for She-Hulk, Iron Fist, Haggar, and Spencer. It was released on January 10, 2012.

The Femme Fatale Pack includes the DLC costumes for X-23, Storm, Morrigan, and Chun-Li. It was released on January 17, 2012.

The Villains Pack includes the DLC costumes for Super-Skrull, M.O.D.O.K., Crimson Viper, and Wesker. It was released on January 17, 2012.

The New Age of Heroes Pack includes the DLC costumes for Doctor Doom, Sentinel, Strider Hiryu, and Akuma. It was released on January 17, 2012.

The Animal Pack includes the DLC costumes for Wolverine, Rocket Raccoon, Felicia, and Amaterasu. It was released on January 24, 2012.

The Weapon Expert Pack includes the DLC costumes for Hawkeye, Taskmaster, Zero, and Trish. It was released on February 07, 2012.

The Viewtiful Strange Pack includes the DLC costumes for Doctor Strange, Dormammu, Nova, Viewtiful Joe, Phoenix Wright, and Tron Bonne. It was released on February 21, 2012.

The Ancient Warrior Pack includes the DLC costumes for Hulk, Arthur, and Firebrand. It was released on March 6, 2012. The bundle was set to included Magneto's costume but was removed due to its resemblance to the military attire of King Juan Carlos of Spain.[2]

A glitch that allows players to select DLC costumes was discovered by user Evil Pixel.[3] It was fixed after a quick update patch.[4] However, by the time it was released in Microsoft Windows, Magneto's alternate costume can be fully accessed via mods.[5]
