Alternate costumes, also shortened to alts or alt costumes, are gameplay features that allow players to change their character's appearance. Each alternate costume sometimes alludes to various Marvel comic books settings and characters, Capcom video game characters, or original concepts. Unlike downloadable content costumes, alternate costumes are recolored versions of the base character model.
