Gravimetric Pulse is one of Nova's special moves. Nova fires energy from himself in a number of ways.
In Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, these energy blasts gain extra effect depending on the red health. Later in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, it the energy blast change effects are only depends on which Hyper Combo level Nova is in.
Light Gravimetric Pulse
Fires a blast horizontally. The higher the red health in UMvC3 and when leveling up the hyper combo gauge in MvC:I, the more damage and hits it deals. The range is increased too.
UMvC3
- Less than 10%: Projectile
- 10% ~ 30%: Projectile
- 30% or more: Projectile, Stagger (ground only)
MvC:I
- Level 0: Projectile
- Level 1 - 2: Projectile, Pushback
- Level 3 - 4: Projectile, Pushback, Wall Bounce
Medium Gravimetric Pulse
Fires a blast diagonally. The higher the red health in UMvC3 and when leveling up the hyper combo gauge in MvC:I, the more damage and hits it deals. The range is increased too.
UMvC3
- Less than 10%: Projectile
- 10% ~ 30%: Projectile
- 30% or more: Projectile, Stagger (ground only), Wall Bounce (air only)
MvC:I
- Level 0: Projectile

Heavy Gravimetric Pulse
Summons a shield that absorbs projectiles. The higher the red health in UMvC3 and when leveling up the hyper combo gauge in MvC:I, the more damage and hits it deals. Gains more durability and size as well.
