Soul Fist!
Morrigan
Soul Fist is Morrigan's special move. Its appearance has ranged from a bat surrounded in a sparkling aura, to a multi-colored fireball, and to what appears to be a heavily stylized bat or snake skull within a sparkling sphere of magic. Regardless of its appearance its uses have always remained similar.
Soul Flash is Lilith's version of the Soul Fist in Marvel vs. Capcom 1, and acts just like the original.
Soul Drain is Morrigan's special move. The projectile moves at the same speed as Soul Fist L and has a long startup. However, this move will drain the opponent's meter on hit and give Morrigan 30% of the damage done. This move is sometimes used in combos especially after Splash Libido.
In Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Soul Fist underwent two major property changes, for starters it can now be aimed. On the ground, the light and medium versions are fired straight across the screen with the only differences between the two being start up time, recovery time, and movement speed, the hard version, however, is fired at an upward 45 degree angle. In the air the directional properties are switched up with the light and medium versions being fired at a downward 45 degree angle and the hard version is fired straight across the screen.
Soul Fist's other new property is it can be flight mode cancelled, allowing the player to stop the move before the Soul Fist comes out or even cut the recovery time of the move in half. This not only applies to the activation of flight, but the deactivation of it as well.
